The project supports EU action on youth in the EaP region. Areas of work range from enhancing strategic partnerships and extending EU support on youth policy, to monitoring the EU4Youth programme’s overall progress, and communicating the success of EU-funded youth initiatives throughout the region.
This project takes a regional approach to activities focused on youth employment and entrepreneurship in the Eastern Partnership countries. Key components include skills development, cooperation between public authorities, raising awareness of young people on decent work standards, and working towards the validation of skills.
The project aims to involve young people in the region in policy dialogue and decision-making processes by providing capacity-building support to key stakeholders of the youth sector and promoting networking and mutual learning between key state and non-state actors in the region and peer organisations in the EU.
Be it Erasmus+, European Solidarity Corps, Young European Ambassadors or any other EU-funded initiative for young people in the Eastern Partnership, every year hundreds of graduates bring new experiences and skills back to their communities – and many want to do more, especially to support those with fewer opportunities. But figuring out on your own what you can do next can be a real challenge. This is why the EU4Youth Alumni Network was created.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
